New version: company accounts

We have introduced company accounts to Taist platform. Now, when a new user registers in Taist, he becomes an admin of a fresh new company and can send invites to other members of his team to join.And addons are now enabled for the whole company.

For users, that means that ordinary users don't need and cannot manage the addons . . .

Major platform update: upload addons from your own repositories

We have launched a major update to our platform and its most important is the change of how addons are published.

Before you had to copy-paste addon's code directly to a form on our website, and that quickly turned into a pain with large addons.

Now you can host addons anywhere on the Web (usually on Github or Bitbucket) . . .

In 2014, I turned Taist from a pet project to a startup:

  • February: I quit my previous job to focus on Taist
  • May-June: I take part in Helsinki Ventures Customer Developer Bootcamp program that gives me a new understanding of how Taist can turn into a scalable business.
